The present study focuses on the dynamics of assimilation and integration among the Baluchis of Tanzania and Kenya and the factors that positively influence the cultural and political integration of this immigrant group in a changing world where ethnicity is otherwise negatively essentialized and minorities are more firmly defined and marginalized.
